On Feb-3-2024, Kevin and Flori prepared and delivered food baskets to eleven families, many in the Esperanza neighborhood, where dirt-floor houses with no running water is the norm. The children are the story as they and their parents (mostly just moms) prepare to start the new school season next week. “Esperanza” means “hope”; and there’s no shortage of it among these families.
